(Kyou, still in his ugly form is alone in the dark, rainy woods. His past haunts him, back to the time his parents died and everyone blamed it on him, cursed as a cat.)

Kyou: It’s not my fault! It’s not my fault!

(Flashback.)Kazuma: You’re right. I know. Pleased to meet you. My name is Souma Kazuma.

Young Kyou:(weeps softly) It’s not my fault.. It’s mot my fault.. It’s not my fault..

Kazuma: It’s ok. It’s ok. I understand. Kyou, would you like to live with me? (while walking out of the Souma’s main house with Young Kyou by his side.) I’m the master at a karate dojo. If you have interest in it, you should try it.

Relative 1: (from afar, gossiping) Look.. Kyou? Did Kazuma-kun really adopt him? even if he can be the child’s father, I feel pity for Kazuma-kun.

Relatvies 2: True.. and so young. Why did he choose to accept that child? (Young Kyou stopped at his tracks. Suddenly, he was surprised to be lifted over Kazuma’s head and he came to observe the tall sakura trees in full bloom.)

Kazuma: From now on, I’ll have you breath air from a higher place.
